But as far as I can tell, it's not YET integrated into Samsungs Smart Things Home Automation app, which controls everything in your home.
Samsungs idea here is that instead of having maybe 10 or so different apps to control various cameras, security systems and appliances in your home, Smart Things brings them all under one central system, no matter who made the device, or what control protocol that device might use to operate.

or whether i Robot/Neato/Samsung et al are prepared to do the leg-work for them. I saw some review I forget where, showing tests that despite the added power the intake design and cleaning system did not perform any better than lower powered models, completely contrary to expectations. It would be nice to know whether it can navigage on carpets better than others, or extract more dirt.
They seem to be into all sorts of smartphone apps more than cleaning.
All it takes is certain bath rugs and Ikea throw rugs to defeat these devices. From what I've so-far seen, it's a nice-enough stand-alone app, and although it's too early and the VR9000 isn't yet available as integrated into Samsungs Smart Things full home automation system, it's an odds-on bet it soon will be.The just-launched Smart Things system is in short supply here in the UK (it's showing as out of stock in the US, despite being Amazon US's best selling system), but I've put an order in for one anyway.Any more real data would be welcome. CNET's conclusion For "fair and balanced" a more favorable review French tests showed less pick up than Neato Botvac, using sugar. The wider intake may be making the stronger vacuum less effective.Instead of referring to such basic needs reviewers look at things like being able to clean a spot marked with a laser pointer.
